Together with what other people report, there are easily hundreds of rather obvious bugs. I didn't say that I personally had hundreds of bugs, but I do have these, which should never have been bugs in the first place if Apple had done their job properly. OS did NOT fix outstanding bugs in Catalina (like infinite loops of .0E000000-0200-0000-0000-000000000000): Service exited due to SIGKILL). OS is NOT more memory efficient, but even more memory hungry. There is NO new functionality under the hood. New icons and "wallpapers" or cosmetic changes don't count as "features". I have an iPhone, iPad, and a Mac wearing AirPods Pro and switching to a different device almost always requires me to manually select AirPods from the Bluetooth settings. The hand-off feature that supposedly makes switching devices seamless when using AirPods doesn't work very well for me. I say that because Adobe CC apps never run "just fine" on any OS, and the current versions on BigSur are no exception. Every other app and utility seems to run just fine, for the most part. I've only come across one tiny little utility that doesn't seem to work with BigSur - Loremify (a menubar Lorem Ipsum generator), but that app hasn't been updated in a really, really long time and I don't expect it ever will be (unfortunately). I see no point in that and it's highly inefficient. That being said, a few of the changes I don't care for - like the half-hidden folder names at the top of Finder windows. Unlike so many people, I LOVE the new UI changes, but then I enjoy change. Hope you enjoy it.Overall, I've noticed a speed boost in most everything on a 2019 16" MBPro (i9 processor, 32 GB RAM, 5500M 8GB video). In addition to the new article button, Loremify 1.3 also brings some speed bumps, jQuery is updated to 1.4.4, and the zip is 38% smaller than its predecessor. If you cherry it over the new article button, you don’t have to upgrade. Now you might be thinking “Well that’s a splendid feature, but what about the List button?” Well, it’s gone. It’s followed by paragraphs and headers, wrapped in and respectively. To give as much of an authentic feel as possible, the formatting is based on a handful of real articles ( Thoughts on Flash, Use Real Words and Down the Rabbit-Hole, amongst others). Every article starts of with a header-if HTML is active, it’s wrapped in (in the HTML5 draft, you can start every new section with a h1). Hover to set the paragraph count, click to copy, and you’re done-just as with the other buttons. Here’s a little christmas joy for all you designers and developers: you can now copy entire articles with Loremify. Note: An updated version of Loremify is available here.
